A collection of some of my black and white images. I do not ordinarily shoot for black and white, but I was inspired to search my collection to see what treasures might lurk there. A few shots, originally shot on film in B& W in the 1960's are included.

National Portrait Gallery - Washington D.C.
A modern glass canopy covers the courtyard of the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. The original building, but in the mid-19th century, served as the U. S. Patent Office. The building was almost turned into a parking lot in the 1950's, but was spared by President Eisenhower.
This canopy was part of of a renovation completed in 2006.
