W-L Class of 1959 60th Reunion
The Washington-Lee High School Class of 1959 held it's 60th reunion at the Key Bridge Marriott Hotel on October 11-13, 2019. It was a "surprise" reunion; there had been no formal plans for an event. But there were rumblings coursing through the internet in July and August of 2019. Folks wanted a reunion! In August, Steve Clineburg stepped up to the job, and organized a reunion committee. It might have been as simple as 20 or 30 folks gathering somewhere for dinner. But it grew into a full-fledged 3-day event. 55 classmates gathered at the traditional reunion sites at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington and the Potomac Boat Club in Georgetown. Many people worked to make this happen, but the "movers and shakers" were Steve Clineburg, Suzanne Davis Courtright, Jim Massie, and Dick Day. Thank you!!
