W-L Class of 1959 55th Reunion

Approximately 100 classmates from the class of 1959 at W-L High School gathered together October 3-5, 2014 for our 55th year reunion. It began with a "Ladies' Tea" organized by Suzanne Davis Courtright and Lynn Victor Arnold. A bunch of guys were in the hospitality suite next door, and they began to infiltrate as soon as they thought they could get away with it. The hospitality suite, honchoed by Jim Massie, stayed open until 11 PM or so, and many friendships were renewed. It was open much of Saturday, closing down for a "picnic" luncheon at the Potomac Boat Club attended by over a hundred folks. Frank Benson led the charge on this activity, with considerable enabling by Tony Johnson (W-L '58). The focal event was the banquet at the Key Bridge Marriott on Saturday evening where about 150 attended. Kudos to Bob Lanham and his committee for a great weekend!
